SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Electronic Store)

 B. About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our in-store team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, enjoy interacting with people, and possess strong sales skills. This is a full-time role based in our main branch in Hargeisa.
C. Job Description
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
• Provide knowledgeable information on electronics including phones, laptops, and accessories.
• Support the in-store designer and marketing associate in visual merchandising and promotional campaigns.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management and replenishment.
• Promote special offers to enhance the customer’s purchase.
• Handle customer queries, returns, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Stay updated with the latest product trends and technology offerings.
• Build long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent after-sales service.

Skills and qualifications

D. Required Qualifications and skills
• Must have a diploma or certificate in Business Administration preferred; if not, must have a diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing or ICT along with a Secondary School certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in electronics or technology products.
• Good communication skills in Somali and English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Confident, outgoing personality with a customer-first attitude.

• Proficiency in using mobile apps, tablets, or computers for product demos and sales tracking.
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, computers, and tech accessories.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.
• Reliable, honest, and punctual.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
