Position Summary:
This position
is responsible for the customization and implementation of Human Resource
policies and procedures and supporting line managers in the day-to-day
management of employees.
The position
holder will be a Strategic HR Business Partner, supporting the hospital in the
achievement of strategic objectives through people.
Essential Job
Functions:
- Oversee
recruitment process including job postings, screening of applications,
conducting interviews, and on boarding of new employees
- Develop and
implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business
strategy of the hospital.
- Streamline the
implementation of the performance management system to ensure underperformance
is addressed appropriately and zero complaints.
- Support current
and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and
preservation of human capital.
- Develop and
monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the
organization
- Nurture a
positive working environment.
- Assess training
needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
- Ensure legal
compliance throughout human resource management.
- Ensure the
hospital maintains compensation and benefits processes that are equitable and
competitive within law and ability to pay.
- Provide
administrative support, which includes personnel records maintenance, payroll
administration, staff benefits processing, and management of Gratuity scheme.
- Maintain proper
leave records for all employees and ensure leave liability is minimized.
- Implement
streamlined disciplinary and grievance handling procedures to ensure there is
fairness, more consultation and better management of HR risk.
- Report to
management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

qualifications
Minimum
Experience, Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s
degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related
field (master’s degree preferred).
- 2-4 years of
experience in human resources management, with at least two (2) years in a
leadership role
- Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in
English, Arabic & Somali, both writing and speaking.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills
